i dont know if i am in the right place but me and my buddy are interested in joinin the snowmobile club thats in horicon.
we had heard that last yr they needed help markin trails
we are both riders and would like to help them out.
also why does the trail not run threw iron ridge like it used to?
we are getting hassled for riding down the side of the street
to get to the trail thats a mile outside of town now.
we live on north main st. and we only ride on the side of the street for a block tops. we got pulled over in town last winter and thank got we got a warning but were told its $150 ticket.... that would have been bad.
any help would be great,

Baney,
We are an ATV club based out of Horicon. I don't have any contact names for the snow club. Perhaps you could call Larry Neitzel to get some information. He is the Dodge County coordinator of sorts. 920-887-2270

The Horicon snowmobile club is a well established club, been around for years. The reason the snowmobile trail in Iron Ridge has not been marked for the last couple of years is because they do not have the manpower to get all the trails marked, Im sure if you were interested in helping out, they would greatly appreciate any help in getting more trails marked, they also have a nice groomer too. It won't be long and it will be time to start marking sled trails. |
